The only problem in human life is we consider ourselves to be a person & in reality we are the formless ability to know.
This is not your individual problem but a peculiar problem of being a human. Every human child has to be brought-up as a person & once the child is brought-up as a person it starts believing that it is a person & forgets its reality.
Try to understand this. A human child is very vulnerable & needs a family & society to be brought-up, in the process it is given a name, it is informed the relationships & it is made to acquire skills to earn. The process goes on for almost twenty five years. When the child has become somebody, what he has really become is a person who can produce or provide what the society wants.
When he becomes self-sufficient he naturally wants to have his own family, this gives new dimensions to his personality. The personality becomes more emotional.
Now you will understand why there is a constant restlessness in the human life, it is because you have to live through this personality all the time. The dilemma is multi fold everybody looks at you as a person & you also look at everybody as a person so the personality becomes more & more confirmed.
People have found work as an escape route to get away from the restlessness & it is the most accepted & acclaimed social engagement. So people keep on working the same way all through their life & at times even if unnecessary. Work as a diversion cannot really provide relief because it is tiring & as soon as their is no engagement the restlessness pops-up! Many people try to change their work to have a pleasure but that also doesn't lead any further because the central issue is not work but You, it is your realization that you are not a person but the impersonal ability to know solves everything.
Now see how this self realization solves everything: firstly you come to know that you only feel the body but you are not the body because body is a form, secondly the person you think yourself to be is all a psychology; made-up of your name, make-believe relationships, acquired skills & the social image, finally you come to know that howsoever deeply you are made to believe & even if you are believing it for a considerable length of time, you are not & cannot become a person; this resolves the restlessness, this is Liberation.

1. My approach to Spirituality
Spirituality is: knowing who you are. It is something like this: you already know who you are but you are not sure. When you will come to know what I am saying you will be thrilled.
The Spiritual Paradox is this : what you really are is already a fact, you don't have to do anything about it, you only have to understand. Even your not knowing who you are does not change your reality but if you know it makes your life a play, you become spontaneous & you start enjoying your life wherever you are & whatever your life is. If you don't know who you are your life remains a struggle & the restlessness continues whatever may be your achievement & however well you may be placed.
A person who has realized himself expresses the Truth in his way, it is incomparable with any other realized one. So my expression may have common basic statements with someone else but you cannot reconcile me with anybody because in reconciling you will be making an effort to convince yourself that you already know & in that case these writings won't open your mind.
The only way for you to find whether you have realized or not is to see for yourself whether you are comfortable in all life situations & if you are having a light mood almost all the time. Your realization is your own declaration it is not somebody else's endorsement.
The basic foundation of my writing is very simple & obvious, it is like this:
The entire existence is made of two things : one the Forms & other the Formless. The forms are made out of the formless & dissolve into the formless. When I say form I mean anything & everything that can be sensed through basic sensories : eyes, ears, smell, test or touch. For example a musical note is a form & requires silence to manifest, so the note is a form & silence is the formless. The Sun for example is a form & requires Space to manifest & move around so Sun is a form & the space is the formless.
The formless is simply your capacity to know. This capacity to know is impersonal, in the sense it is the same for everyone. A musician may be having a highly sensitive capacity to listen but a deaf also knows that he cannot hear, so we are not concerned with the extra-ordinary abilities but just the basic ability to know. If you go further you will also come to know that this ability to know does not depend upon the sensories. One may refine the sensories but the ability to know remains the same for everyone.
This ability to know has one more mysterious thing, you cannot locate where it is. It is believed that this ability is in the brain but it is not so, brain only decodes a sensory perception, or records a sensory perception, the ability to know is not located in the brain. Even if you land on the moon this capacity to know will be there so it cannot be localised & still it is everywhere.
This ability to know is called the Truth, the Timeless, the Formless, the Deathless, the Virginity, the Uncreated, the Zero, the Silence & so on but all names are only words, it is the realization that brings you liberation.
This capacity to know has a very great quality, It can know Itself; if you have understood this, you have known yourself, because You are this ability to know.
All of us have a single dilemma that we consider ourselves to be a person. The entire fear, restlessness, conflict are a result of this single misunderstanding. If you have understood that you are this formless ability to know you have realized yourself!
